I'm a UC Berkeley student from Seattle who would love to get some racing/practicing time in on a 40+ foot boat this year. I'm sailing in Vic-Maui this summer and would like to get some sailing in before then so I don't fall completely out of practice :) Please let me know if you could use some extra crew this season or wouldn't mind letting me tag along for day cruises... I'm not an "advanced" sailor, but know the basics well enough and I have raced a little in the bay area and a lot up in Washington (including two Swiftsures). Lioness is a Bermuda 40, we rate a pretty slow 181 PHRF, but we enjoy sailing. New to the left coast, we hope to be racing this fall as we shake down and get the new house sorted.
Keep us in mind if you want to get out and get some experience.
