Greetings everyone!

I have just moved back to Vallejo from southern California. I own a Hobie 20 (which I race) and am looking for people who would like to get out and go Hobie sailing with me. Racing season is here, and I need to get out and get some practice this month before I start.

You must be:
a) fit
b) >170 lbs
c) kind of coordinated (this is a catamaran, you learn to wear a harness and stand off of the side)
d) not prone to panic (stuff happens fast because the boat goes really fast
e) not afraid of spending time in the water

- wetsuit owners and those with some catamaran or at least sailing experience preferred.
- if you weigh less than 150 and enjoy the experience you might get adopted as my new racing crew (my wife had a baby, so she is out for the season)

Hi Kurt. Just saw your post. I'm a 26 year old female graduate student in clinical psychology. I'm finishing up school and now that I have more free time, I can't wait to get out on the water. I live in Walnut Creek and work in Vallejo and Benicia. I am interested in getting more seriously into sailing. I have only gone out a handful of times sailing casually as a crew on a keelboats and cruisers. Not sure if i'd be the right person to help you get prepared for racing season, but i'm definitely interested. I'm pretty fit and weigh about 120 lbs.
